Sri Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Stotram is in praise of and prayer to the twelve Jyotirling Temples ascribed to Bhagwan Shiva.
The Slokam enlists the name of the twelve temples along with the presiding Deity. Bhagwan Shiv is worshipped as Sri Somnath in Saurashtra (Gujarat), Sri Mallikarjun in Shiv Sailam (Andhra Pradesh), Sri Vaidyanath in Paralya (Jharkhand), Sri Bhim Shankar in Daakinya (Maharashtra), Sri Rameshwar in Rameshwaram (Tamil Nadu), Sri Nageshwar in Daruka Vana (Gujarat), Sri Visheshwar in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Sri Trayambakeshwar in Nashik (Maharashtra), Sri Kedarnath in Himalayas (Uttranchal) and Sri Grushneshwar near Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra).
Sincere recitation of this Slokam is believed to alleviate the sins of the seven births and to result in the abundant blessings of Bhagwan Shiva.
The visit to these Jyotirlingam temples and having the darshan of Bhagwan Shiv is said to alleviate all the ill effects of karma.
The Slokam is presented in Devanagari and English scripts.
