Nallatur is a village situated near Thiruthani, Tamil Nadu. In this serene place, there is a privately run temple dedicated for the worship of Sri Anjaneya Swamy. The temple is at the bank of Kusasthalai river.
As per the legend, during 15th Century or so, Sri Vyasa Raja Swamigal was proceeding to Thirupathi Sri Balaji temple for performing Vyasa Puja on the occasion of Chathur Masya Vrata; He was carrying a Bala Hanuman Vigraha to install at Thirupathi; He was passing through the area near Kusasthalai river; It was raining heavily and Sri Swami could not navigate; He heard a divine voice which directed him to install the Sri Hanuman Vigraha right at the bank of the river; Seeing this as the divine intervention, he had installed the Deity there itself.
The entrance to the temple is through the big arch at the left side of the road just prior to the bridge on Kusasthalai river.

From the entrance, one has to come down a few steps to reach the temple.
From the arch, to the left side, there is a huge statue of Sri Yoga Anjaneya Swamy. He is in meditation pose.

On climbing down the steps, one has to turn left to an elongated hallway to reach the main sanctum.

From the temple entrance to the main sanctum, the pathway has pillars on either side.

We get the darshan of Sri Veera Mangala Anjaneya Swamy at the main sanctum. The Deity is hailed as Sri Bala Anjaneyar and Sri Veera Mangala Anjaneyar. He is appearing in walking pose; He is looking in the northern direction to which Thirupathi is situated.

His right hand is in Abhaya Mudra (protection) and He is holding a lotus bud in His left palm. The lotus represents Gnana (wisdom / education), Aishwarya (wealth) and Vijaya (success). The lotus is also said to represent Sri Saraswathi, Sri Lakshmi and Sri Durga.
His hands are adorned with armlets, bracelets and bangles. His right foot is in resting pose and His left foot is in raised pose. He is adorned with anklets and noopuram at His feet.
His holy tail is in raised position from right to left and there is a bell at the tail end.
The Vimanam of this sanctum is one tiered and is adorned with the stucco images of Sri Yoga Anjaneya, Sri Bhaktha Anjaneya and Sri Pancha mukha Anjaneya.
To the right hand side of this sanctum, we get the darshan of Sri Ramachandra Murthy, Sri Lakshmana, Sri Seetha Devi alongwith Sri Hanuman. The pose of Sri Rama is considered to be Panchathra. The sanctum has two tiered vimanam.
The Dwajasthambam of this temple faces Sri Rama Sanctum.
Then we take parikrama of the outer prakaram from there. First, we get the darshan of Sri Narasimha Swamy and Sri Sudarshana.
Then we turn to the right to get the darshan of Sri Ganapathy in a separate sanctum.
Further down perambulation, we get the darshan of Sri Durga and Sri Naga. When we go past Dwajasthambam, we get to the Navagrahas sanctum.
